Taking pictures of hair is hard work...

So, lately I've been busy looking at other pro's take pictures of hairdo's.  What's the lighting like?  What's the background of?  What essentially is the best (or one of the best) setup, to take a great hair picture.  Sometimes with darker hair it's hard to see the dimension.  Blonde hair can look great even if the style is not that impressive.  These things have been driving me nuts.

So, I caved in and bought a new camera.  And, began experimenting...

Your standard blowout taken at the salon.

Dimension on dark hair.

Purple hair in low light.

I'm liking where this is going.  Hey, you have to start somewhere.
